PlayOJO is an online casino and bingo site run by Skill on Net Ltd, a Maltese company licensed by the UK Gambling Commission for players in Great Britain under account 39326. Its welcome-spin winnings are advertised without wagering, but its reward policy contains a conflicting PlayBooster default, and in May 2023 the Commission announced a £305,150 settlement with Skill On Net over social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures.

View offerIts Trustpilot score was 2.3 out of 5 from 15,568 reviews on 22 October 2026. This review covers the 50 free spins welcome offer, OJOplus money back, payments, games, bingo and support as a UK visitor saw them on that date, including the reward terms that conflict with the no-wagering message.

PlayOJO combines slots, live casino, jackpot games, scratchcards and bingo under one account, with a brand built around rewards paid in cash rather than bonus money. The table summarises what a UK visitor could check on 22 October 2026.

PlayOJO is licensed in Great Britain, but its operator does not have a clean regulatory record, and a licence does not make gambling risk-free. Skill on Net Ltd holds an active UK casino licence, account 39326, and UK rules on fairness, complaints and safer gambling apply to PlayOJO's UK site. The version of PlayOJO served to us from outside the UK displayed a Malta Gaming Authority licence; other regional versions use other regulators. If you want to know whether MGA casinos are safe where that licence applies, our hub explains the Maltese framework.
On 23 May 2023, the Gambling Commission announced that Skill On Net Limited would pay £305,150 after an investigation found social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures. The Commission said the company ran 50 websites and that the money would go to socially responsible causes.
We could not access the detailed public statement through the Commission's news page, so we could not read the specific failings. The Commission says it keeps public statements online for three years and provides historic copies on request, and its regulatory actions tab for the operator was empty when checked on 22 October 2026. The settlement does not by itself show how the operator works today.
Skill on Net Ltd is registered in Malta (company number C50024) and has held UK account 39326 since 2014; PlayOJO launched in 2017. The UK register lists a head office address in Limassol, Cyprus, while the site's footer gives a business address in Ta'Xbiex, Malta. The UK footer names only the UK licence.
We could not check the MGA register directly, because it blocks automated access, so the MGA number comes from the international footer. Our article on how the MGA licence began explains why so many operators that serve the UK are based in Malta.
PlayOJO says customer funds are held separately at Barclays and rates its insolvency protection as "medium". That is the operator's declaration, not a guarantee: the terms acknowledge that all funds may not be repaid if the company becomes insolvent. PlayOJO also says its random number generator is audited by iTech Labs.
On Trustpilot, the playojo.com profile had a TrustScore of 2.3 ("Poor") from 15,568 reviews on 22 October 2026, with 1,167 in the previous 12 months: 37% five-star and 42% one-star. The profile covers players from several countries, so the score is not UK-only. It displayed a 100% reply rate to negative reviews, typically within 24 hours, but that does not show whether problems were solved. The handful of recent reviews visible on the page mentioned document checks before withdrawal, payment and technical problems and support experiences, alongside positive comments; we have not verified individual claims there or on Reddit.
To complain, write to customer support with your username, name, a description and the dates involved. If that does not resolve it, you can ask for escalation to a manager, and the terms promise a decision within 96 hours. PlayOJO names eCOGRA as its dispute service for unresolved gambling-transaction complaints. Under UK rules, that service is free to use once you have the operator's final response, or after eight weeks, and using it does not remove your right to go to court. PlayOJO's terms also quote two-week and one-year conditions, which we did not confirm with eCOGRA.
Yes, if you live in Great Britain. PlayOJO's UK site is operated under its UK Gambling Commission licence, and its terms say only players from Great Britain may play there. We loaded it from a London connection on 22 October 2026 and saw the UK terms, offers and footer. New players in Northern Ireland are excluded from the welcome offer, according to the offer terms and the reward policy.
For players in Great Britain, the UK licence brings several protections. PlayOJO must take part in GamStop, so keep your details accurate and tell both PlayOJO and GamStop if you can still gamble while excluded. Bonus wagering is capped at 10x, online slot stakes are capped at £5 a spin, or £2 for players aged 18 to 24, and credit cards cannot be used. Before you can deposit or play, PlayOJO checks your identity with an automated service and asks for ID and a utility bill if that fails.
Use the version of the site for where you actually live. The international footer we saw does not establish the terms or eligibility for every other country.

Eligible new players aged 18 or over in Great Britain are offered 50 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza, one of the games from Pragmatic Play, after a first deposit of at least £10. PlayOJO says the spins are credited as soon as the deposit lands, and winnings from them are paid as cash with no wagering requirement.
| Term | UK casino welcome package (22 October 2026) |
|---|---|
| Offer | 50 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza |
| Spin value | £0.10 each (£5 in total) |
| Qualifying deposit | First deposit of at least £10 |
| Eligibility | Subject to a registration check; ineligible accounts are told by email |
| Expiry | The help page says free spins expire after 24 hours; the captured offer terms gave no deadline |
| Winnings | Paid as cash, with no wagering requirement |
| Excluded | New players in Northern Ireland |
| Other rules | One welcome package per player (casino or bingo, not both); the Rewards and Game Play Policy applies |
The 50 spins have a total stake value of £5, so this is a modest offer; its strength is that winnings are not locked behind wagering. The reward policy says a reward can be forfeited if you withdraw reward-related funds without first risking the qualifying deposit. That is a condition on the reward, not a requirement to gamble your own deposit before withdrawing it. Spins are played at the lowest bet unless stated, and one account is allowed per person, household, address, card or shared computer.
Bingo players can take a separate package instead: 500 free bingo tickets after spending £10 on eligible bingo games, with mini games excluded. Each ticket can be used for games priced up to 10p, the tickets have no cash value and they expire after 72 hours. The offer terms say you cannot claim both packages; the bingo promotions page describes them as separate offers, and the help page still mentions an older 50 tickets and 10 spins package, so check the terms shown when you deposit.
PlayOJO's marketing says there is no wagering on anything, and its Rewards and Game Play Policy (version 1.20, last updated 31 July 2024) opens with the same promise. The same policy describes a "PlayBooster" reward that, unless an offer states otherwise, is released only after a playthrough of 60 times its value within 30 days, measured in points; the help page describes PlayBoosters too. We did not see a PlayBooster offer while logged out, so the policy alone does not show that a current offer uses 60x. The default is inconsistent with the no-wagering message and raises a question under the 10x wagering cap in force in Great Britain since 19 January 2026, so ask support for the specific terms before you play towards one.
PlayOJO's ongoing rewards are cash rebates and targeted offers rather than matched deposit bonuses. The published OJOplus and welcome-spin descriptions say there is no further wagering on those winnings, while the PlayBooster policy needs clarification. For other brands and how they are licensed, see our directory of overseas casinos.
OJOplus returns a percentage of every real-money bet to a separate balance, win or lose. It is calculated on stakes, not losses: the catalogue data behind the lobby gives each game a rate between 0.01% and 0.75%, and the most common value, on 2,103 of 4,217 entries, is 0.20%, so £100 staked at that rate would add 20p. The bingo page advertises 3% back on bingo games.
You collect the whole OJOplus balance at once into your real-money balance; amounts are rounded down to whole pennies, and PlayOJO can change the rates without notice. Uncollected balances are removed after 180 days of inactivity. These rebates do not offset the risk of losing the money you stake.
Kickers offers depend on your account and may disappear early. The reward policy allows PlayOJO to cancel promotions without notice, but says cancellation will not affect an award already redeemed. The terms also contain a reward-forfeiture clause linked to safer gambling requests, covered in the safer gambling section.
PlayOJO says it does not use bonus codes for its welcome offer: you claim it by making a qualifying first deposit. The deposit screen does have a field for Kicker codes, which apply to targeted offers sent to your account, and the reward policy says you are only eligible for an emailed offer if PlayOJO sent it to you directly.
We found no no-deposit welcome offer for UK players on 22 October 2026. The daily £10k Free Roulette spin and Freeroll Spinoffs are free to enter, but both require a deposit in the previous three days. If an account that has never deposited does receive free money, the reward policy caps winnings from it at £100.
The methods below were listed for Great Britain while logged out. The list alone does not confirm what your account can use, so check the cashier for methods, limits and timings.
| Method | Deposits | Withdrawals | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visa and Mastercard debit cards | Yes | Yes | Visa Fast Funds payouts run 24/7, with possible weekend delays |
| PayPal | Yes, from £10 | £20 to £5,000 per transaction | Requires a prior PayPal deposit; no routine fee; usually arrives within hours after approval, per the PayPal page |
| Instant Bank Transfer (TrueLayer) | Listed; check cashier | Not published | Shown in the GB payment list; transaction support and limits not confirmed |
| Apple Pay | Yes, from £10 | To the linked card | Requires a prior Apple Pay deposit, per the Apple Pay page |
| Google Pay | Listed; check cashier | Not published | Shown in the GB payment list; transaction support and limits not confirmed |
| Paysafecard | Listed; check cashier | Not confirmed | If a deposit method cannot receive payouts, the terms require another verified method |
| Wire transfer | Not confirmed | Yes | £10 fee, waived for withdrawals over £500 |
| Credit cards | No | No | Not accepted for GB online gambling |
PlayOJO's withdrawal minimum is unclear. Section 7 of the terms lists £10 unless a site page says otherwise, but section 8 says there is no minimum and reserves the option to send a cheque for withdrawals below £5. The banking page shows £0, the PayPal page £20, and the FAQ and About page say there are no minimum withdrawals, so confirm the limit in the cashier or with support before depositing.
Card and e-wallet withdrawals carry no routine charge from PlayOJO, but payment providers may charge. The terms also reserve a 15% bank-charge clause for repeated deposits and withdrawals without commensurate betting, or for play consisting entirely of low or very low risk bets, describing it as passing on bank charges incurred before closing the account. We did not see how it is applied, and a published term does not establish that a charge is fair or enforceable.
PlayOJO says it processes 95% of withdrawals within minutes, after which the time to reach you depends on the payment method; we did not test a withdrawal. Some requests are reviewed by the payments team, wins of £5,000 or more can take longer, and a withdrawal cannot be cancelled once requested. The system sets a maximum amount per withdrawal, shown in the cashier; you can request another once the first is processed, or ask support to change the amount. If a withdrawal cannot be paid and no alternative method is available, it returns to your balance after seven days.
After 12 months without account access, the terms allow a £5 monthly fee from any remaining balance, after an attempt to return the money and, if that fails, an email 30 days before charging. PlayOJO aims to verify uploaded documents within 12 hours and asks you to contact support if you have not heard back within 48 hours. It also carries out affordability checks, which can involve financial documents, and depositing with someone else's card or account is not allowed.

We read PlayOJO's GB catalogue through the games data its lobby loads, logged out, on 22 October 2026. Across 17 categories we counted 4,217 distinct game IDs. That is not a verified total of playable or unique games; PlayOJO's About page advertises over 8,000 games, a figure we could not reconcile with this capture.
| Category | Catalogue entries |
|---|---|
| Slots | 2,720 |
| Jackpot games | 750 |
| Live casino | 540 |
| Blackjack (live and RNG) | 328 |
| Roulette (live and RNG) | 127 |
| Live baccarat | 72 |
| Slingo | 70 |
| Scratchcards | 58 |
| Live game shows | 53 |
| Crash games | 48 |
| Video poker | 13 |
Categories overlap, so they add up to more than the 4,217 total. The largest provider labels were Evolution OSS (640 entries), Relax Gaming (604), Playtech (582), Pragmatic Play (543) and SG Digital (268), followed by Blueprint, Play'n GO and Microgaming. The data flags 232 entries as Megaways games and 42 as exclusives.
The live casino category contains 540 entries, of which 462 carry the live-dealer flag: 187 under the Evolution OSS label, 160 Pragmatic Play, 99 Playtech and 16 Stakelogic. Live roulette includes an exclusive Playtech table streamed from Manchester, shown in the lobby as Live from Genting Casino, and the Take a Seat feature places you at a live blackjack table that matches your chosen provider and minimum bet.
If live tables are your main interest, the full review of LeoVegas covers another MGA-licensed brand that serves UK players.
Jackpot titles include Blueprint's Jackpot King games and Mega Moolah, with displayed pools in the millions on the jackpot page; the terms say the amount held on the server at the moment of a win is what is paid, whatever the display shows. The Hot or Cold feature shows which games have recently paid out more or less than they took; PlayOJO itself says this is no indicator of future results.
RTP (return to player) is a long-term theoretical percentage, not a prediction for your session. The terms say the RTP in each game's rules can change, so check the version you play; PlayOJO says it does not itself alter providers' rates.
PlayOJO added bingo in 2020, using Playtech software. It runs 90-ball, 75-ball, 80-ball and 30-ball games, with rooms such as OJO Time, Daily Delight, Cash Cubes and Drop Pots, plus chat games and live bingo shows. In the Equaliser Room, PlayOJO says every player has the same chance of winning.
Bingo has its own welcome package of 500 free tickets after spending £10, and the bingo page advertises 3% OJOplus money back on bingo games. Free tickets work only in eligible rooms, cannot be used for pre-buying or combined with another free-ticket offer, generally do not count towards jackpot pools, and expire on their stated date. Slingo combines slots and bingo; the catalogue's Slingo category contains 70 entries, including duplicate titles, so it is not a count of 70 unique games.
If bingo matters less to you than slots, more MGA casino reviews cover other brands on this site; check each review for its GB licence status.
To sign in, use the Login button with your username and password; registration requires accepting the terms, and we did not complete a registration. You may hold one account, and PlayOJO can link accounts that share an IP address, payment details or address.
If you have forgotten your password, choose "Forgot Password?" under the password box and enter the code PlayOJO sends by email or phone. If your account is restricted, ask support what restriction applies, and do not open another account or play from another location. A pending withdrawal may simply be under review by the payments team: give support the date, amount and method, and watch for the email update PlayOJO says it sends.
To close an account, use the Player Limitation page or contact support. If the reason is gambling harm, the terms ask you to use GamStop or self-exclusion instead, and a closed account can still request withdrawals.
Support is by live chat, available once you log in, and by email at [email protected]; the help page lists no phone number. PlayOJO's payment pages say the support team is available 24/7, which we did not test. Emails should come from the address registered on your account and include your username.
PlayOJO has genuine apps on both stores, published by Skill On Net Ltd and linked from PlayOJO's own help page. On 22 October 2026, the UK App Store listing (version 7.7, updated 14 October 2026) had a 4.4 rating from 19,034 ratings. The Google Play listing had a 3.7 rating from about 17,000 reviews and more than a million downloads, with a PEGI 18 rating for real gambling.
PlayOJO says its mobile casino games can also be played in a browser and that app availability varies by jurisdiction. Download the app only from the official stores. If the app will not load, contact [email protected] or use the site's live chat; we did not check live outage status, and we did not install or test either app.
PlayOJO's safer gambling pages describe these tools; we did not test them:
A self-exclusion applies to your other known accounts on Skill On Net's licence, but a deposit limit applies only to the account where you set it, so set limits on each account you use. When a self-exclusion ends, the account stays restricted until you phone or visit to ask for it to be reopened, and a 24-hour cooling-off period follows. Some tools may be restricted until your identity is verified; if the self-exclusion tool is unavailable, contact support straight away and ask to be excluded.
Two published items need care. The terms say a "Player Limitation" request forfeits rewards or personal offers extended before it, without explaining whether that covers collected OJOplus cash or deposit-limit changes; this is a concern about the wording, not proof that deposited money is lost. Separately, one of PlayOJO's self-exclusion pages is plainly outdated, describing a national online scheme as something planned for 2018. Do not rely on that page: GamStop exists, and PlayOJO must take part in it.
Never delay a break, a self-exclusion or a limit to keep an offer. For free, confidential advice, see where to get help with gambling, or call 0808 8020 133 in England or Scotland, or 0808 2819 265 in Wales.
PlayOJO's own sister-sites page lists only its regional versions (UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Canada, Ontario and New Zealand) and PlayUZU, its brand for Spain and Latin America. Skill On Net's UK licence is wider: the Gambling Commission register listed 52 active trading names and one inactive name on 22 October 2026, including SlotsMagic, Queen Vegas, Spin Genie, Genting Casino and Prime Slots.
| Brand | Relationship to PlayOJO | Evidence checked |
|---|---|---|
| SlotsMagic, Queen Vegas, Spin Genie | Same operator and UK licence | Active trading names on UKGC account 39326 |
| All British Casino | Different operator: L&L Europe Ltd | Active UKGC casino licence, account 38758 |
That matters for safer gambling. A self-exclusion set at PlayOJO covers your known accounts on the licence, but deposit limits do not carry across, and welcome offers and terms differ between brands. The table compares operator relationships only, not offers or payout speed.
For a casino from a different operator, our review of All British Casino covers L&L Europe's brand, which also serves Great Britain under a UK licence.
PlayOJO may suit adults in Great Britain looking for slots, live casino and bingo, with cash winnings from its advertised welcome spins and cash rebates through OJOplus. The welcome offer is small, at 50 spins worth £5, but its winnings are not locked behind wagering, and the apps come from the operator itself.
The cautions are significant. Skill On Net agreed a £305,150 settlement with the Gambling Commission in 2023 over social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures, and the Trustpilot score of 2.3 shows many dissatisfied reviewers, though it does not establish the causes. The reward policy's 60x PlayBooster default contradicts the no-wagering message, the forfeiture wording around player limitations is unclear, and the withdrawal minimums conflict. Set limits before you play, and ask support for written clarification of any term that conflicts; published conditions do not override your consumer rights.
This desk review uses public pages, screenshots and the GB catalogue data PlayOJO's lobby loads, captured on 22 October 2026 through a London connection while logged out. We read the UK terms (last updated 27 January 2026), the Rewards and Game Play Policy (version 1.20), the banking, help, safer gambling, bingo and about pages, and the offer terms on the Kickers page. Versions served from Georgia earlier that day were used to confirm the international site's MGA licence and that its terms differ from the UK ones.
We also checked the Gambling Commission register and its news archive, Trustpilot, the App Store and Google Play. Figures are dated snapshots, not guarantees of current offers, availability or processing times, and catalogue totals count distinct IDs across the 17 categories we captured. We did not register, log in, contact support, install an app or test deposits or withdrawals, and we could not read the Malta Gaming Authority register directly. Read our editorial policy for our full method.
PlayOJO is run by Skill on Net Ltd under UK Gambling Commission account 39326 for players in Great Britain. A licence does not remove risk: in May 2023 the Commission announced a £305,150 settlement with Skill On Net over social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures.
PlayOJO's named operator is Skill on Net Ltd, registered in Malta as C50024 and licensed for GB casino play under account 39326. Its UK licence also covers brands such as SlotsMagic, Queen Vegas and Spin Genie; we have not checked its corporate ownership structure.
Yes. As a GB-licensed online casino, PlayOJO must take part in GamStop. Keep your details accurate, and if you can still gamble while excluded, stop and report it to PlayOJO and GamStop. PlayOJO also offers its own self-exclusion of six months to five years.
Eligible new players in Great Britain are offered 50 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p each after a first deposit of £10 or more, with winnings paid as cash. New players in Northern Ireland are excluded, the help page says free spins expire after 24 hours, and you can take the casino or the bingo package, not both.
Its welcome spins and OJOplus are described as wager-free. The UK reward policy still sets a default 60x playthrough for PlayBooster rewards, so ask for the specific terms of any PlayBooster you are offered.
PlayOJO says it processes 95% of withdrawals within minutes; the time to reach you then depends on the payment method. Large wins and reviewed requests can take longer, and we did not test a withdrawal.
The minimum deposit is £10. Published withdrawal minimums conflict, including £10 and "no minimum" in different sections of the terms and £20 for PayPal, so check the cashier.
Yes. Skill On Net Ltd publishes PlayOJO apps on the App Store and Google Play, and PlayOJO links to both from its help page. Its mobile casino games can also be played in a browser.
